Cruising Sailors Forum Archive

Good or bad, that's right.

You don't get much to watch from afar or in open water. Out there, it's easy.

In a harbor though, when somebody is sailing in it, every sailor is watching! Don't we know that comfort zone of ours and feel it watching others? My comfort zone is a big one. I need room, some don't

There aren't that many places it happens, too many boats in most harbors, or too few sailors feeling comfortable sailing in and out of harbors. Sails drop outside, engines on, what fun is that to watch?

In this harbor, quite a few boats sail in and out. I think as a group, boats sailing in and out encourages others to do it as well.

Thanks on the pics Gene.
