I ask this specifically as I am still trying to determine a good dink for a small boat. I was thinking slat floor, but my dock neighbor told me those things wouldn't plane if you mounted them on a wing. He suggested either RIB or high pressure air floor.

I am leaning toward air floor for the ability to deflate and roll it up.

Now I see you "seasoned sailors" all mentioning RIBs.
