It's a Zodiac not an Avon but I agree with Steve about folding and mildew. Every month or so it gets a bit flacid so I put in enough air to keep it from wrinkling. A friend deflated and stored his one winter and mice got in a chewed a bunch of holes. I don't see any advantage to deflating it if you have room to store it.
