If you take two pieces of rubber and glue

() them together and then bend them in a 180 degree bend, that compresses the rubber on one side and stretches the rubber on the other side and that "Loads" the glue joint. Anything that is forced to do work that it was not intended to do can be considered unintended "Load". As always, IMHO.
