All our lighting is...

All our lighting is LED but we don't skimp. Normally we have 4-6 lights on at a time plus the anchor light and two cabin fans running near continuously. The biggest hog on power for us is the AP and plotter/radar when used. The TV is another big draw at about 4.5A but it is not on very long perhaps one movie or show before bed. Lately our daughter has been doing NetFlix via the iPad when we have good 3G coverage. Charging the computer is another big hog but I try to do that when the motor is running. The iPad consumes very little to charge in comparison. I also have a net book but prefer to use my 15" screen.... Interestingly our fixed mount VHF draw less very little to "monitor" and gives us AIS. Charging our portable VHF via 12V actually uses slightly more power than just running our fixed mount unit but it does not give us AIS receive.. In the fall, late October & November, our Ah use bumps up slightly due to the Espar. Course by then we are usually the only boat on the bay so if we run the motor it is only us who hears is......
