...is that these guys had done this before... setting up and establishing a watch rotation should be a no brainer.

I last did this race on a boat that had not done it before, and trying to convince the skipper and crew that they needed to set up watch schedules and get folks rested was like pulling teeth... but it was their first show... funny that later into the night, everyone that was so excited earlier was then dead tired... Agean was not new to this, those guys should have understood the need to set up a watch rotation.

Of course the other big head slapper is setting the autopilot to a danger heading.
