but it's pre-Intel and won't support the software her clients use. She only works in Word but can't open docx. And the battery is completely dead so she daren't unplug it or she has to enter the date and time again, and again, and again . . .
I love my MacBook Pro . . . but I'm being forced to "upgrade" the OS because of my clients' requirements. I would be delighted if this could be my last computer . . .
I bought a Canon camera this year, plug it in and -- boom! -- photos upload to iPhoto just like that. Brilliant. Apple keeps asking "Do you want to learn about the new iPhoto?" No thank you. I don't do anything to my photos. If I send one to a magazine, they want to "do" stuff, they don't want me doing it. I'd rather get the image right before it gets into the camera, as it were.
