These seem to have the best (clearest) format of the ones I have looked at. Each harbor features harbor-level charts and aerial photos, and a table of the marinas and clubs that offer transient facilities (and not) and which services they have (e.g. fuel dock, pump-out, showers, number of transient slips and moorings, laundry etc). Armed with that book and a cell phone you'll have all the info you need, including harbormaster cell numbers.
If I can offer one piece of advice, it's "don't try to keep to a schedule". As a pilot I'm sure you'll understand that. If adverse conditions warrant, alter your plans and make the most of it. The vacation is where you are.
