agree: ask the lobstermen

They know the local harbors better than anyone, and they're folks you want to keep on your side. When they invite you to a pot luck supper at the church (Don't bring nothing, just come!) you suspect you're on the 'OK list'. We pulled into Cutler (Little River) after a long day, circled the harbor once, then asked a lobsterman about an available mooring. He gave us a long look, then said 'Take Harry's over there, his boat is still behind his barn.' But no joy on finding water - not a hose bib in sight. The other sailboat in the harbor filled us up - a HR 54 with 200 gal fresh water plus an RO watermaker. LOVE cruising in Maine!
