Small dinghy engine choices?
I would take a good look at the Lehr
That has to be a tough decision, Max.
I read an interesting comment recently
Here are a few notes I've collected on the Torqeedo
I have had almost exactly the same results with my Torqeedo
That's good to hear.

Once you leave the US
you can still buy them in the bahamas
We purchased a Tohatsu 9.8 in Panama
What would you haul for fuel tank, Larry?
Don't know ranges
Ranges for propane outboard
My problem isn't with propane, it's with the availability of propane.
Remind me to steer clear of them . . .
The way I read it...
Lost two rudders in two months. Must be some sort of record.
Let's hope so. You should design and build a rudder, like you "mean it".
Tom
Amazing Rodd
I hate it when I criticise a boat somebody here owns.
I was told 20# propane ~ 5 gallons of gas for range
20 pounds of propane has about the same energy content as 3.5 gallons of gasoline
Lehr claims propane is more efficient to burn than gas
As you say, going from 3.5 to 5 would be almost 50% more efficient
We have a 25-year old, 4 HP, 2 cylcle Mercury (really a Yamaha) - w/ an integral tank
Neat. Looks like a hybrid outboard?
