According to Lehr, the 5 HP on an 8- to 10-foot RIB with two people aboard will run wide open for about 30 minutes on one 16.4-ounce canister of fuel. During typical use (with varying speeds), the canister will last about 90 minutes. PS tests affirmed these figures.

So a 20# tank would last ~ 10 hours wide open. There are no fumes and far less emissions than gas. Electric touch start. Plenty of power to plane. Equivalent in cost to same HP outboard. Plenty of reasons to consider one IMO. I might look into one of their propane lawn mowers next time I need to buy one. And no I have no commercial interest, just looking for better ways to do things.
