Lehr claims propane is more efficient to burn than gas
In Response To: 20 pounds of propane has about the same energy content as 3.5 gallons of gasoline ()
Still, it may not be so efficient as to get it up to 5 gal equivalent.
"(The founder of Lehr) added that propane outboards are more efficient than gas engines because their higher compression allows them to burn the fuel more completely, resulting in zero emissions."
