John, you're almost right. If you're a

working man, the time and effort will take so much of your energy that it's best to just move on. I, on the other hand, don't mind making it my mission in life to screw with this kind of an organization. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but I have the time and the money so why not. When I head south then it all stops but as long as I don't have much on my plate then it just killing time. Besides, I'm a 64 year old, or at least I can be a 64 year old curmudgeon if I want to be. Most of the time the guy behind the desk or counter is a working guy that doesn't have the time or inclination to be screwed with so he caves. Sometimes not..... but it gives me the satisfaction that he had to spend his time dealing with me. In business, time is money. For a retired guy like me, off season, time is just time.
