I suspect there is an easy answer to this, but I just added raw water cooling to my refrigeration. It is the standard Danfoss BD 50 compressor with a holding plate. It was designed for air/water cooling. I have had it since 2003. It was manufactured by E-Z Kold (no longer in business) in Canada and it has been a reliable piece of gear. It never let us down in all of our cruising. Nevertheless, after all this time, I just got around to adding the water cooling and it is amazing how efficient it is. But that is not the problem. The water pump (2 amp draw) and the fan work off the same circuit and when I started it up everything was going as it should until the fan stopped!!!!. The pump continues to run and doing fine. I have looked for a fuse---can't find one. Looking at the Danfoss compressor on RParts, I can't find one. Something blew and for the life of me I can't find out what it is. The unit is wired according to the published schematics. Of course, I am looking for ideas as to what made this brushless fan stop. I am planning on by passing everything and wiring the fan to the battery to see if it works on a separate circuit.
Thanks in advance.
