SG, the fan didn't work when connected directly to a power source, so it is shot. You are correct, these like computer fans, small, cheap, and I guess, go-to-pot after a bit. Now I have to take the unit out so I can get to the thing and install a new one. One small item, though. Even though I installed this unit, I have never disconnected one. I assume that the refrigerant tubes are simply pulled out. I recall that there was considerable effort to connect them due to the pressure of the refrigerant. Any advice on what to expect when I remove the tubes will be appreciated.
