I was driven away from a really nice anchorage behind Islamorada a couple of winters ago for that reason... One of the local liveaboards had a dog, which barked incessantly from the time the guy left for work in the morning, until he returned at night... I mean, NONSTOP, all day long, the longest interval of silence was maybe a minute, at most, I've never seen a dog that had such a capacity for barking... Amazing, that no one had shot, or poisoned the damn thing... (grin)

So, as much as I detest those damn Hondas, it can always be worse... (grin)

There was a discussion of portable generators over on Sailnet recently... Pretty depressing how broad was the consensus, that as long as you put the damn things in your dinghy trailed astern, no problemo, everything would be fine...
