Wow, it's been awhile since I've been up your way in season, that's all pretty depressing... Got any pics of the offending parties to share?

Yeah, I think the damn "stadium lighting" even bugs me more than the generator noise... And, not only from other boats. My favorite anchorage in my neighborhood here on Barnegat Bay has been completely spoiled by the night lighting from athletic fields in the near distance... Most times, the freakin' things aren't even being used, and yet the lights stay on, anyway... Last time I came in Barnegat Inlet after dark, I was practically blinded looking towards the lighting on some school athletic fields over on the mainland - I'm talking about something more than THREE MILES AWAY... WTF???

Guess we simply have to get used to the New Normal... The winter before last was my first pass thru the Exumas in several years, I was totally blown away the extent to which that area is now infested with charter megayachts, and the like...

Only solution would appear to be to venture further afield... Head EAST, young man... (grin)
