using a portable Engel unit! It works on the boat and uses very little power, then still works on the way home in the car!

This past months we were cruising the San Francisco Delta, then towed back to Az. I was amazed at the low power usage. My link-10 was on when it started up at anchor. It started and drew 2.4 Ah, but then throttled back to about 1 Ah for most of the run time. Our single 85 W solar panel handled it and ALL our power needs for a week at a time.
