From the picture it is unclear which member it is...

If it is a separator between two spreaders as I am guessing from the picture it is in compression. Don't play around. Fix it.

A mast is a terrible thing to waste.

As a temporary fix you could straighten the bend and put two or three splints around it. Each at least two feet long one inch SS tubing. Secure very tightly by wrapping with a thin line (1/8 or 3/16) around the full length of the splint. In a pinch I would do something like that but replacing it is the best solution.
