Hey Tom,
I don't see a nav station, but I suppose those are passe', nowadays...
But, are they freakin' serious with that GALLEY??? Hell, MY boat has a better galley, and I don't even COOK! (grin)
They're definitely going for the Hanse/Soho Loft interior there, that amount of open space is very puzzling... That settee and dining table is a joke, for a 50' footer? What an incredibly uninviting, 'anti-social' arrangement... Compare it with the pic you posted recently of your British friends aboard CHRISTMAS, there is NO comparison, no feeling of intimacy, or 'coziness' whatsoever...
Great to see Hinckley doing something like this again, and it's a very cool boat on the outside... but I'll take an old Sou-wester 52 instead, thank you... (grin) Rather odd that they're no mention of draft, or line drawing of the underbody... I wonder it they'll offer a lifting keel version, perhaps? Otherwise, it obviously doesn't look very 'cruising friendly' for much of the East coast...
I wish them luck, but I'll be surprised if they sell more than a handful... Of course, they're hardly gonna be a Production Boat, to begin with...
best regards,
