() I have a friend with a Brewer 42(similar to the Whitby 42) that is about the same size, but different below. The Brewer has a large engine room under the CC that takes up quite a bit of space. Nice if you like to polish your engine but space is taken. I live this layout better for living aboard. Be fun to watch you fix it up, Les.

- How much of a deflection? Is it near a stringer or bulkhead? How near the waterline?
