We plan to buy a new camera next spring, so I have been copying notes/comments from this board to help decide what models to look at. I almost get a headache when I look at all the choices and opinions that are out there. We're not particularly knowledgeable or diligent in photography, but do want portability, simplicity, good in low-light, good video ... a decent compact all-around camera. I'll look forward to hearing what those of you who study photography upgrade to in the coming months.
