I was looking around and discovered that Olympus doesn't call it pre-roll. They call it pre-capture. Pre-roll was a term I used from my filming days. Most Olympus cameras have the feature as part of your options menu. Here's a shot from a different manual.

It's a really nice feature if it has it. Perhaps you'll be pleasantly suprised.
