a waterproof Olympus for years. It was the waterproof feature that saved it once when I jumped in with it my pocket! Didn't even remember it was there until a few min later. I even had it reconditioned once. BUT, I am lusting over a new one and am positive it must be rugged and waterproof.

The newest feature (to me, not cameras) that I am now lusting for is the feature that geotags the photos. I have seen a number of them now on the market. That way I can plot the location and look back on it without having to remember the exact location I took the photo. As crushimers sets in more, this will become more valuable!
