I have a class B transponder
In Response To: How many here have AIS transponders? Or do you just have a reciever? ()
It's reassuring to know the big boys can see us in reduced vis. (If they're looking)
Also, this is just a hunch but I think the CG is less likely to stop you for a "safety check" if you have a transponder, as that gives them a lot of info about you already.
