The more I read the blog entry's the more I feel she was following his dream. She seems like a woman who is capable and up to the task of venturing into the unknown even enjoying most of it but was stretched to the limit of her emotional abilities. I felt a bit badly for her. The blogs do tell quite a bit.

I stopped reading the blogs but it seems to me that the circumnavigation thing could have been abandoned when the second child arrived. They could have spent the next two years just cruising Mexico or the Pacific Coast before venturing further. All the more reason for me to ponder if this 'circumnavigation' idea was all about him and she and the kids just went along for the ride. Not a very good ride at all.
