I think the caulk would work better

Is Butyl tape suitable as an open corner fillet?
I would think butyl would work well

might be difficult to get a caulking gun through that hole though
Put a polyethylene tube on the end of the caulking tube...
Obviously, the Dorade box must be hard to remove.
The dorade is fiberglass and molded into the hull
I've used epoxy syringes quite a bit with good luck
Epoxy alone would not...
