on my over head that have been repaired due to moisture intrusion over the years and my wife is after me to do something about the general condition. She wants me to paint the overhead but this is sounding like a very interesting alternative. It would be about 5 times the work but please keep us posted. I would really like to see the results. The older Shannon yachts have a great looking overhead but the newer ones that I've seen changed it some. They went to fiberglass with molded in three inch battens that I fell in love with where mine is wood that requires maintenance. I could probably get the new material from Shannon but it would probably cost as much as just replacing the boat. No. Not really. Actually Shannon has bees so supportive over the years that I have nothing but good thing to say about them. Every time I called them to ask a question they've bent over backwards to help. They've even sent me material to repair my salon sole at no cost. It is a wonderful company to be associated with. Even so, this sounds like something I could be interested in. Thanks,
