can be good or can be bad. I have a Paladin and an AMP crimper, the expensive ratchet kind that are not supposed to make a bad one. Yet they easily can and do. Sometimes the second crimp that is supposed to catch the insulation bottoms the thing and the wire is not properly crimped at all, yet feels tight. I have given up using those and use a cheap single one that I can judge the force, bottoming, and location of the crimp by feel and sight. I use only Anchor heat shrink terminals because I can pull on the crimp and make sure it is tight before I shrink the insulation.
