quite a bit. Even for longer than expected when it was overlooked deep down there. We find the reds do fine but the whites, not so much. We tried to keep some plastic small bottles aboard and that DID NOT hold up.
We also use socks to protect the bottles. A small tip, I dyed a few socks red and use them for the red wines. Makes it much easier to pull out a bottle when needed.
We also use boxed whine and actually like that a lot! Last year we were in the San Francisco Bay & Delta area cruising. We had a few people aboard a couple of times an served them some of the boxed whine. We got some complements on it and when it was reviled that it cam from a box, they actually said they planned to start carrying it aboard also! They were NOT just being polite. It also makes it easier for one of us to have a small glass without the worry of letting an almost full bottle go to waist.
