… the dinghy doesn't move. I have about 8 feet of SS chain on there, and 100 feet of 1/2" 3-strand. Perfect. We do lots of diving & fishing with the dinghy, in lots of current and foul anchoring, in lots of places where we'd be screwed if the dinghy took off. And it never has. Folks will laugh at you … BUT, Highly recommended. Fits nicely in a 5 gallon bucket. Cheers, John
