() either at the dock or with another long painter to the beach. I've used this method many many times and never have had any issue but I like Larry"s idea a lot. Not so much for the strength but for the sun protection. If strength is your concern then do like I'm going to do and do what Larry and Cole suggests. Then it will be covered both ways. I love this board
