Pretty good design, no key slot just waterproof buttons. One problem for me was the locknuts inside the panel holding the waterproof pushbuttons (preheat, start and stop) were just regular steel. It was a pain finding the matching metric fine thread tap but I did and made new locknuts out of scrap fiberglass. I recall calling Beta in Sausalito and was told that the steel was not a problem.
