making one large bed/bench... must be a characteristic of small boats to offer such a feature, eh? I suppose on larger boats they turn the footwell into a bath tub... and perhaps have the hot water to fill it. GRIN

My engine panel is at back rest height and out of the way of the footwell, so no interference with my grate. I do have to work around my engine shift/throttle though.
