Other than that I agree completely, Rich. I won't have one on my boat. I've heard more than a couple first and second accounts, like Eddie's, of boats nearly being lost on a passage due to a bit of seaweed of some other crud causing the dripless bellows to leak. The dripless shaft seal always struck me to be an elegant solution to a nonexistent problem. I might think differently if my boat didn't have such a deep bilge.
