doesn't thrill me. Nothing against the dripless, but two chunks of threaded bronze, now improved with new tech stuffing material, is such a simple reliable tool. I'm a big fan of the ions old and tested design.
With minimal maintenance, I've never had a serious problem with one. For the money, I'd buy a new mizzen, or maybe another iPad.

- A shaft zinc is not a good set collar.
- The only downside of the hose clamp is
- To stop shaft slipping
- Without knowing the brand of the seal in question...

- How does one inspect these dripless systems?
- A friend just finished PR to Maine, and their 18 month old shaft seal failed.
- US Navy uses them on submarines.
