Of all leaks, these would be one of the easiest to live with at sea. These guys, crew of 6 were on it pretty quickly.
The Swan also had engine problems off the coast of Maine. These were traced to air getting pulled from pick up tubes being severely tested due to the sea way. None of this they couldn't deal with.
