IMPORTANT! We were mostly worried near dark 
In Response To: Maine cruise -how worried about lobster pots should I be? ()
I was always worried I'd snag one at sunset and go crazy after dark trying to fee myself.
Snagging a pot in mid day is one thing but to snag one at or after sunset would suck big time. We were coming into a harbor at last light and pots were right in the middle of the harbor entrance. The Admiral had to stand at the bow with a spotlight and direct me to miss them.
No fun at all.
