This hook-knife from Sailors' Solutions. The first year I had one in Maine it broke, sawing off a line. They replaced it with no questions asked. (The newer one has also seen use and is still on one piece.)

I have a small air tank, but not sure I'd go in even with a wet suit. But then the two divers I've used, just pulled off their T-shirts and dove in!
