The lead on the lower lifeline is just wrong with it's intersection with the side stay turnbuckle. They just didn't design the stanchions or the side stays properly. When I first saw it, I thought one line might actually have to run through the turnbuckle. :^))).

They're still using vinyl covered lifelines? The only reason the vinyl has to be used is that the chafe on the turnbuckles wouldn't be acceptable?
