Adam, I setup an inner stay using Dynex Dux from Colligio. It uses an oversized snapshackle for the deck fitting and is tightened using spectra lashings. It is in place only for my storm jib. The jib uses soft-hanks and has a two-to-one halyard (my oversized pole topping lift). I had it out in 30 knots plus this weekend as a test. All in all it worked pretty well. I need to re-work the sail bag and re-run the sheet leads.
