a number of fishing boats up there have been sunk by whales - they hate 'em (the whales also play havoc with their sets of course). They also told me I was safer in my PS25 around whales because of it's comparatively light weight which would not offer as much resistance to an attack. It was a comfort to me at the time. I kept imagining a whale trying to headbutt a ping pong ball :)
