I install a Lewmar Ocean hatch in my cabin top, and Lewmar recommended using sheet rubber for a gasket. However, they didn't provide one! At the time, I had a source (a roll in the shop). Today, I'd expect a suitable sheet of rubber could be purchased at McMaster.
