but for most deck fittings I use 4000 UV, which is a weaker bonding UV resistant variant. I don't find the bond strength of 5200 to be all that daunting. And it works far better as a sealant than silicone or many of the other possibilities. 5200 can be removed with debonding agents (or just soak it in gasoline for a while). Absent that, it creeps, so you just need to get a wedge under the part and wait a while. Now it creeps about 100% before failure, so you need to keep pounding that wedge in every once in a while then let it creep.
What I don't like very much is silicone. It is nearly impossible to clean up.
