how cheap is cheap? and how deep is your mooring field?

To moor my 20 foot outboard, I bought a 150 mushroom + 30 feet of chain, shackles, ball, lines etc. cost about $450. dragged it down to the water's edge at low tide. strapped it to a truck inner tube and towed it out behind the dinghy. cut the cord and whoosh!!
