having lived in Cocoa Beach for 37 of the last 44 years! I have two friends with boats in there, a C & C 30 and a Soverel 33 centerboard. I used to sail up there occasionally on a C & C 25 dodging the sandbars to the SE and cutting off the turn to Haulover. Outside the ICW, that area makes the Banana River look shallow.
