for charging my batteries from the honda 1000. except i use the 35 amp model. i see they have a 40 amp model now too that would also work off the honda 1000.

i've only used it to charge batteries but it works great. starts high and steps down itself.

unfortunately i've never tried to equalize batteries with it so i can't give you any advice. but my batteries seem to be overdue for an equalization and i may just try it soon.
