hand crank
In Response To: Never tried it, but the idea of crank-starting anything more than a one cylinder diesel has always scared me... ()
The hand crank is set up to only propel the engine in one direction. There are tapered splines so when the engine catches, it can spin faster than the crank and not rip your arm off.
