Pam and I flew into JFK from PEI last summer. Landed in a storm and the airport shut down as we touched down. After the ground hold was lifted we were deposited at the nearest gate. NOT an International Arrivals gate but just some gate. We were released into NYC without any inspection, interview whatever. When I asked the gate agent (Delta) he said "Sir you no longer need a passport to travel to and from Canada". I stopped two TSA agents and they seemed uninterested. Our next flight was delayed so we went into the city for dinner and came back 4 hours later and only as we were boarding the filght to Atlanta did Delta and TSA and Customs come running. "You must come and check in before leaving" HAHAhahaha. Idiots!
We get what we pay for and thuis what we deserve. I do not feel any safer!
