of idiots too. My wife and I were flying out of PV to Los Angles last week and ran into the woman immigration officer. I had flown in to PV but my wife had last driven in and so had her visa issued at the boarder. At the Alaska ticket counter my transaction went OK but the counter girl wouldn't issue my wife a ticket because she was unfamiliar with her type of visa. We had to go to the other end of the airport to immigration to get the stamp that said we had paid the visa charge. I told the girl that we had entered at TJ and paid the fee at the time. Her response was that she needed to see the paid receipt. I told her that they would not have issued the visa if I had not paid for it. We went back and forth with this for 15 minutes until I told her I wanted to see her supervisor. She just turned and walked off. I had to track down a phone and finely got the immigration supervisor and explained the situation. All the time I'm watching my watch as the time to our flight was ticking away. The supervisor said he would take care of it and evidently called the the bitch on the phone and made her come back out to stamp my visa. We were giving each other the stink eye all through this because she was pissed off that I was able to go over her head and she couldn't cause me any more grief. The moral is if you drive over the boarder and plan to fly out get your visa stamped and not just the receipt at the bank. Save yourself from fools!
